Anti-war demonstrators march on the US Capitol after gathering at the White House on 15 September 2007.

The protest was organized by Anti War organizations including Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (A.N.S.W.E.R), Gold Star Mothers For Peace, Veterans for Peace, Declaration of Peace, Impeachbush.org and Code Pink.

Protesters, numbering nearly 100,000 according to the AP, were opposed by members of The Gathering of Eagles, who demonstrated on the National Mall and along the anti-war march on Pennsylvania Ave.

The demonstration culminated with a 'die in' at the steps of the US Capitol.

According to US Capital Police, 189 demonstrators were arrested. Two Capital police officers and two demonstrators were injured during arrests.
